NCIS: LA Season 12 has officially been confirmed! Here are the biggest questions we need answering when it premieres.
NCIS: LA fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Just as many of us expected, the show is coming back for the 2020-2021 season. CBS officially confirmed NCIS: LA Season 12 along with the other NCIS shows and many other dramas and comedies on the network on May 6.
And there are certainly plenty of questions. After all, the NCIS: LA Season 11 finale wasn’t the one planned. It was abrupt, with individual storylines left open. However, I will admit that this episode worked well as a finale as long as we get another season.
While there are a lot of small questions, I’m joining them together into bigger questions. These are the five that I need answering when NCIS: LA Season 12 premieres.
5. Will Agent Roundtree take up the offer to join the team?
At the end of the NCIS: LA Season 11 finale, Sam and Callen offered Roundtree a place on the team. He didn’t immediately say yes. In fact, he made it clear that because the team is a family, he wanted time to think about that. He doesn’t take joining a family lightly.
And while Roundtree has shown some immaturity running into buildings without checking them or getting into cars with bombs, this was a moment where he showed excellent calm. I don’t blame him for wanting to think first. Joining a family is tough, and we don’t know much about Roundtree’s family life up to this point.
I have a feeling he may say yes in the end. But I love that he is taking time—and I think Sam and Callen respect him for that decision, too.
