It’s another Wednesday, and that means we’re ready for One Chicago night on NBC. What’s going on with the schedule? Is Chicago PD Season 8, Episode 8 on tonight, Wednesday March 3?
There’s some bad news for all One Chicago fans. All three shows aren’t airing new episodes tonight.
The good news is you have reruns to watch, but you want to know what’s coming next in Chicago PD and others’ storylines, right? You’ll want to wait a little longer, but we have an end-date for the wait and a synopsis.
Just a quick note for those who love Chicago Med, you’ll want to watch SWAT tonight. Norma Kuhling is in the all-new episode tonight.
What to expect on Chicago PD Season 8, Episode 8
You’re only waiting one more week. The new episode will air on March 10 at the usual time.
This wait is partly COVID, but it’s also partly scheduling. NBC looks like its trying to get back to the normal fall schedule for the 2021-2022 season, and that means making sure the usual fall shows wrap up at the normal time this year despite their delayed starts. Chicago PD needs to wrap up in May, and it will only have 15 episodes or so this season.
There just isn’t enough weeks in the schedule to run the show without breaks. Expect another break at some point, likely the end of March or beginning of April.
For now, we can just focus on Chicago PD Season 8, Episode 8, titled “Protect and Serve.” Atwater gets a front seat in the episode with Ruzek, as the two make an arrest of a man involved in a high-profile shooting. It turns out someone doesn’t want the two of them to get back to the precinct, putting both our Intelligence officers’ lives on the line.
Chicago PD Season 8, Episode 8 airs on March 10 at 10/9c on NBC.
