The CW has announced its fall schedule, and our eyes are on Nancy Drew Season 3. Will the season premiere in fall 2021? Here’s what we know so far.
The CW was quick to renew its slate of shows. There hasn’t been a cancellation in 2021 just yet, and there’s only one series left to hear about (which hasn’t premiered yet!). Nancy Drew was on the list of renewals, which meant we could comfortably watch the second season without being concerned about a cliffhanger ending.
And it was certainly a cliffhanger ending. After dealing with the Agleaca at the start of the season, it all came back up in the finale. The Wraith had been feeding on Nancy’s repressed trauma the whole time, and she had to find a way to deal with that.
While she did, the fight wasn’t quite over. Temperance Hudson, who created the Wraith, finally had the blood of the Hudson descendant she needed to be able to get back into Horseshoe Bay. It looks like there’s trouble for Nancy Drew Season 3, and here’s what we know about the season so far.
When will Nancy Drew Season 3 premiere on The CW?
While The CW has changed its fall schedule, Nancy Drew was on it. Rather than Wednesdays, it will air on Fridays at 9/8c. We’ve already shared why this isn’t such a bad thing for the show.
However, fall doesn’t seem to mean fall anymore. The CW pushed its fall shows back to January 2021 due to the pandemic. Will that happen again?
The good news is Nancy Drew Season 3 will likely premiere in 2021. We’re actually looking at October 2021 as a premiere month, which matches the usual CW schedule for premieres. There shouldn’t be a reason for a delay this year.
