Lawrence Bittaker was one of America’s most famous sadistic serial killers, known as The Toolbox Killer. Peacock’s documentary about him and his partner Roy Norris is on Peacock tonight. What time can you start watching?
As true-crime fans, you’ve likely heard of The Toolbox Killer. Bittaker is one of the most sadistic serial killers in America’s history. His killing spree happened throughout 1979, and he’s remained silent about everything. That is until now.
The Toolbox Killer on Peacock does something differently. This is a documentary in Bittaker’s own voice, as well as a few interviews from others connected to the 1979 attacks.
For 40 years, he remained silent. Then he met criminologist Laura Brand, and over the course of five years, he started opening up. He talked about his methods and motives. This documentary is on the graphic side when you consider some of the topics, but it’s also a chance to get inside the mind of a killer.
As well as Bittaker, the family members and friends of some of his victims will give exclusive interviews throughout the documentary.
