Gibbs has decided to stay in Alaska, but the team still has work to do. Alden Parker joins the team for a case on NCIS Season 19, Episode 5.
During NCIS Season 19, Episode 4, we said goodbye to Gibbs. For now, it’s a permanent goodbye. That was Mark Harmon’s last episode, but it doesn’t mean he’s completely done with the series. He’s still an EP, and there’s a good chance we could see him pop up for the series finale, whenever that may be.
For now, the team is going to face a change. Gibbs isn’t going to be there to say “grab your bags.” Instead, McGee is in charge.
That’s right, McGee is going to be in charge. Alden Parker is going to join the team on a case on NCIS Season 19, Episode 5, but not in any official capacity.
How will Parker be involved in NCIS Season 19, Episode 5?
After getting word from Fornell that Gibbs is a good egg, Parker refused to arrest him. It did lead to his firing at the FBI. However, that doesn’t mean Parker is done for good when it comes to solving cases.
He’s turning up at NCIS to help with a case. This isn’t in an official capacity, and it’s not all that clear how and why he’s around just yet. Gary Cole came onto the show as a series regular to help soften the blow of Harmon’s exit, but it’s going to be interesting to see how Parker fits in with the team. Is he going to be a bit like Fornell, who is now a PI after being fired from the FBI?
The case itself involves a suicide bomber who gets rid of the evidence because Jimmy can examine it. The person recruiting suicide bombers isn’t finished, either.
