NCIS Season 17, Episode 2 preview: Is Ziva working with the terrorist?
In the NCIS Season 17 premiere, we watched as Gibbs helped Ziva find the woman who has been after is. Is there more to the story in Episode 2?
Throughout the NCIS Season 17 premiere, we got a few answers to our burning questions. Why had Ziva faked her death and why was she back now? However, it was clear that we weren’t going to get all our answers. And just as it looks like Ziva is willing to cross a line to get to her family, it turns out that there may be something darker.
The promo for NCIS Season 17, Episode 2 gives us a hint that there could be something more. Ziva could be working with a terrorist in an attempt to get her family back. Is that a line she’d be willing to cross for the sake of family? It doesn’t seem like the Ziva we knew, but this Ziva is no longer the woman we’d got to know.
What is clear from the images is that Ziva gets a chance to see the rest of the team. In some cases, it will be reunions. In others, it’s getting to meet them for the first time. Does this mean the terrorist connection is all a ruse?

Titled “Into the Light,” this episode is sure to take us on a trip down memory lane. After all, there’s going to be a moment for Ziva and McGee. Hopefully, their moment helps McGee realize that Bishop really was just keeping a secret that Ziva had requested. Ziva being alive wasn’t something for Bishop to share.
Then there are the meetings between Ziva and Bishop and then Ziva and Torres. For Bishop, it’s going to be like meeting a ghost. Bishop was the one who took Ziva’s place in the team, and she has never had it easy. For Torres, it’s like meeting a legend.
And we can’t forget that Ducky is back in this episode. Even though there’s a chance that Ziva is working with the terrorist, Ducky and Ziva need a moment together. There are no hints that we’ll get that, so I hope the writers give us something.
