The team heads undercover on SWAT Season 3, Episode 3, but there’s a big problem. Lt. Lynch hasn’t given them enough time to prepare fully.

SWAT Season 3, Episode 3 sees the team head undercover. What could possibly go wrong? After all, they’re trained for this, right?

In “Funny Money,” everything could go wrong. Lt. Lynch isn’t giving the team time to prepare. It doesn’t help that they’re going undercover against a gang that they’d taken down in the past. This gang is making a comeback and it’s more dangerous than ever before.

Expect plenty of headbutting along the way. Hondo isn’t happy that his team is being sent in partially unprepared. They don’t have the intel they need to make the right calls and decisions. Anyone could be at risk from this decision, and if something does happen, you know that Hondo will take is personally even though he’s just following orders.

This gang is dealing with counterfeit money in large amounts. The gang will trust no-one, which will make it extremely hard for anyone to work their way in.

Whether something happens to the team or not, things aren’t great with the new lieutenant. It’s not surprising if she’s going to send everyone on an undercover mission without enough intel. Just why does she have so much faith in the team?

It’s not like home will be much calmer for Hondo. His parents are getting closer to divorce and that is going to put strain on him. Is there anything he can do or say to help or will he reach breaking point? He’s not the only one with a personal storyline in the episode, but the only one that’s focused on in the synopsis.
