NCIS: New Orleans Season 6, Episode 7 picks up after the shocking death of one of our own. Here’s what to expect in the new episode based on the synopsis.

Things aren’t going to be easy in NCIS: New Orleans Season 6, Episode 7. We and the team are still dealing with the loss of one of our own. But everyone has to move forward in some way, right? What better way than with an explosive case.

And I do mean explosive. The title of the episode, “Boom-Boom-Boom-Boom,” tells us everything, and not that the Vengaboys are coming to town. Oh, no! Instead, we’ve got a case of an explosion but that may not be the only one.

More from NCIS: New Orleans News

On the surface, it doesn’t look like there is anything for the team to investigate. An explosion at a movie theater has been triggered from a natural gas issue. It all seems so normal on the surface, right?

That is not going to be the case. The team learns that the gas company was hacked. That explosion wasn’t an accident, and there’s a threat that there will be more explosions around the city.

Just who was involved in the hacking? And how exactly does this link to the Naval investigative team?

One thing that we can’t overlook with this case is that NCIS: New Orleans is getting back to basics. While there have been cases of the week from the beginning of Season 6, we’ve had a constant focus on Lasalle’s mission to find his brother. Once he found out Cade had been killed, his focus turned to answers and revenge.

Of course, that led to Lasalle’s death last week. Lucas Black chose to leave the show to spend more time with his family. It’s an honorable decision, but we’re certainly going to miss Lasalle.

But as we continue to grief the loss of one of the greatest characters on TV, here’s a look at the NCIS: New Orleans Season 6, Episode 7 synopsis:

"Following a natural gas explosion at a movie theater, the NCIS team discovers the gas company has been hacked and more explosions could be triggered."

Next. Is Lasalle really dead in NCIS: New Orleans?. dark
