What TV crime dramas should you watch this week? NCIS: New Orleans moving on after that devastating loss is one of our picks for Nov. 10-17, 2019.

With so many TV crime dramas on the air, which ones should you watch and which ones can you skip? Our weekly watchlist will tell you which crime dramas are worth your time this week.

For the week of Nov. 10 to Nov. 17, it’s once again CBS that has some big episodes on tap as TV series bring out some big plots and guest stars to rev up interest as we hurtle toward midseason.

Here’s what to watch in TV crime dramas this week, along with previews where available:

Tuesday, Nov. 11 @ 10 p.m. ET/PT: NCIS: New Orleans Season 6, Episode 7: “Boom-Boom-Boom-Boom”

This is the first episode to air since NCIS: New Orleans wrote out Lasalle (Lucas Black). And when it comes to losing a main character, it’s not just about their leaving; it’s how the show operates after they’ve gone. Will this episode go back to normal like the team isn’t still mourning their loss? Or is it going to show continued after-effects?

And for fans, will the show feel different without Black? Will his departure mean less people tune in? This installment isn’t necessarily special in terms of plot but it is worth keeping an eye on just to see how New Orleans moves on.

Thursday, Nov. 13 @ 3 p.m. ET/PT: Limetown Season 1, Episodes 9 and 10: “Apples and Oranges; Answers”

Fans of TV crime dramas have likely missed Limetown, since the Jessica Biel-led series is airing on Facebook Watch rather than linear TV or a more common streaming platform. But the show based on the podcast of the same name airs its final two episodes on Thursday.

Will reporter Lia Haddock (Biel) finally get answers about the hundreds of disappearances she’s been investigating in Tennessee? How will her investigation play out? The cast also includes Stanley Tucci, Marlee Matlin, Louis Ferreira (Motive) and Rekha Sharma (Battlestar Galactica).

Friday, Nov. 14 @ 8 p.m. ET/PT: Hawaii Five-0 Season 10, Episode 8: “Ne’e aku, ne’e mai ke one o Punahoa”

What’s going on behind the scenes are the biggest reasons to watch this week’s Five-0 episode. A week after seeing Alex O’Loughlin take the creative reins, Friday’s episode is co-written by his co-star Chi McBride, who plays Captain Lou Grover. As such, there’s a subplot about Grover’s family that includes the return of Michelle Hurd (Blindspot) as Renee.

And the director of this episode? Carlos Bernard, whom TV enthusiasts will remember from his on-screen role as Tony Almeida in the hit FOX series 24.
