Blue Bloods continues to mix politics and police work in Grave Errors. Find out how to watch Blue Bloods season 10, episode 9 live, on TV and online.

Blue Bloods is continuing to dive into political drama this week, so here’s how to watch Blue Bloods online or live tonight, as CBS‘s long-running crime drama continues.

It’s not uncommon for the show to have a political element, but “Grave Errors” continues the recent trend of politics getting in the way of whatever the Reagans are trying to accomplish.

In this case, the roadblock takes the form of Mayor Peter Chase (once again portrayed by Dylan Walsh of Chicago Justice and Unforgettable fame).

After offering Erin Reagan a lucrative job recently, Chase pops up for the second time so he can try to exert influence on her father Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). He has ideas for Frank about how the NYPD is staffed, even though Frank wasn’t asking for his input.

More from Blue Bloods News

Blue Bloods fans know that Frank won’t be pushed around by anybody. But there will likely be the classic tug of war between the mayor and the high-ranking police official that we’ve seen on other TV crime dramas in the past.

Speaking of Erin (Bridget Moynahan), she’s not done running into conflicts either. In “Grave Errors,” she butts heads with the psychiatrist that she’s brought in as an expert on a child abuse case. The expert (guest star Jennifer Bowles) has a different point of view than Erin, so who is right and wrong? And how will Erin proceed with her case if she doesn’t agree with an important witness?

Plus, Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) punches above her weight when she decides to call her boss out for his vendetta against Frank. That’s likely not going to go well for her, unless Frank or somebody else comes in to keep her from getting fired. As tough as Eddie is, picking a fight with your boss almost always has terrible consequences.

Here’s how CBS officially describes this Blue Bloods episode:
