Which TV crime dramas should you watch this week? Midseason and season finales are all of our picks for the week of Dec. 9-15, 2019.

With so many TV crime dramas on the air, which ones should you watch and which ones can you skip? Our weekly watchlist will tell you which crime dramas are worth your time this week.

For the week of Dec. 9 to Dec. 15, several shows remain off the air as they started their winter holiday hiatus around Thanksgiving. But the series which are still on, are winding things down, which means there are some big episodes ahead.

Here’s what to watch in TV crime dramas this week, along with previews where available:

Wednesday, Dec. 11 @ 10:00 p.m. ET/PT: Stumptown Season 1, Episode 9 “Dex Education”

ABC‘s freshman crime drama Stumptown signs off for 2019 with Wednesday’s episode, which has to pick up the mess that Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders) created at the end of last week.

The series went down another pretty cliched route next week when it had a drunk Dex hook up with her best friend’s girlfriend Liz (guest star Monica Barbaro, Chicago Justice). At least, when fans last saw Liz she was naked in Dex’s bed. So how will the show deal with that? And will it leave viewers with a cliffhanger that doesn’t involve her personal life?

Saturday, Dec. 13 @ 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET: Live PD Season 4 Midseason Finale

On the true crime side, A&E‘s massively popular Live PD airs its last episodes of 2019 on Friday and Saturday nights. (Don’t worry, the show will be back in January.) With so many shows on break already, Live PD is an easy alternative with three consecutive hours of following police officers in a whopping 12 departments nationwide.

They include the legendary Danny Brown of the Richland County Sheriff Department, who may or may not be in the lineup. And even if he’s not, keep an eye out for him anyway—he’s usually seen helping his fellow officers on calls and popping up in the background as a result.

Sunday, Dec. 15 @ 7:00 p.m. ET/PT: Murder For Hire Season 1, Episode 20

The true crime series wraps its season up on Sunday. If you haven’t been watching Murder For Hire (and we’re guessing you haven’t, since it’s a bit out of the way on Oxygen and the first season has stretched over more than eight months) you’re missing out. The stories here wouldn’t be out of place on any TV crime drama—but they’re all true! The show interviews everyone involved in outlandish murder-for-hire plots, including police investigators, informants and the victim.
