It’s a Tuesday night, which means you’re getting ready for a new episode of FBI Season 2. So, where is it? Is an episode on CBS at all tonight, Feb. 4?

Tuesday nights are all about the CBS crime dramas, right? We kick off the night with NCIS and run all the way through to FBI: Most Wanted at the very end. Is there a better way? Well, we’ll have to find a different way, as there’s no new episode of FBI Season 2 on tonight, Feb. 4.

Not only is there no new episode, but there’s no episode of the crime drama at all. CBS has preempted the episode for the State of the Union address, which starts at 9/8c. The good news is there’s a rerun of NCIS the hour before, but the State of the Union address is going to take up at least the two hours that the FBI franchise takes up.

That’s not fun for those who were ready to see more covering up of Missy Peregrym’s pregnancy with big jackets and large sweatshirts. How long until something more creative needs to be used?

Anyway, the good news is that this is just a one-week break. And I guess we sort of need to know what’s going on in the world of politics. Not that we’ll be any clearer or any less frustrated by the end of the night. Sometimes it’s better to watch the fictional tales because they have mostly positive outcomes.

So, what comes next week? We get a new episode of FBI Season 2. Titled “Legacy,” the episode is OA-focused again. While we’ve had a few of these episodes this season, this is the first time since the winter break that we’ve had an OA-focused episode. It was about time, really!

Once again, someone from OA’s past is going to return and OA isn’t all that sure he can trust this friend. It’s becoming a standard story for OA and is usually mixed in with cultural and religious expectations.

As for the case of the week, a truck full of armor-piercing rifles is hijacked. What could the hijackers possibly want with those weapons?
