Did NCIS tease romance for Gibbs and Sloane in Lonely Hearts? Did Torres come back early? Here are our biggest moments from NCIS season 17, episode 15.

This week’s NCIS was the CBS drama’s Valentine’s Day-themed episode, and it left us with questions about a potential romance between two of the main characters—not to mention a few other moments that we want to talk about!

SPOILER ALERT: This slideshow contains discussion about the events of NCIS season 17, episode 15. If you haven’t seen Tuesday’s episode, you will be spoiled! You can stream the episode here.

In “Lonely Hearts,” we learned more about a connection between certain people around the NCIS office, and we were re-introduced to one of Gibbs’ longtime friends Phil Brooks (guest star Don Lake, making his first appearance on the show since season 12). With these close relationships, it’s no surprise that we picked up some interesting information that left us wanting more.

Meanwhile, Special Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) returned to work after his accident, and one of the show’s main cast was noticeably missing in action—not appearing in “Lonely Hearts” at all. So how worried should fans be about the team overall? Could there be at least one change on the horizon?

We’re here to discuss the moments from this episode that had us the most interested, and what we’ve taken away from this week’s character developments and plot twists. These are the things we can’t stop talking about, and we’re sharing them with NCIS fans in hopes you’ll talk about them, too.
