6. Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries

For those who love a good period series, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries is certainly worth checking out. The Australian drama follows Miss Fisher, a sleuth in the 1920s. She is always ready for a mystery to solve.

There is also a new movie out that continues the story. Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears is something to watch when you’ve finished the first three seasons.

And if you love the show so much, you can check out the spin-off. Ms. Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries follows Miss Fisher’s long-lost niece in the same job.

5. London Kills

For those who want a gritty mystery series, London Kills is the place to turn. Hugo Speer plays DI David Bradford, the head of an elite murder squad. He’s fueled with passion for the job, but there’s one case that continues to haunt him: the disappearance of his wife. It doesn’t help that he may be suspected of that disappearance.

There are plenty of twists and turns throughout this two-season series. Hopefully, there is more to come, because there are still plenty of stories to be told.
