Hannah Khoury has dealt with her demotion like a pro, but recent news means she’s after one man. Will her career be on the line on NCIS: New Orleans Season 6?

Special Agent Hannah Khoury is one of those characters that brings mixed opinions from fans. That being said, there’s no doubt that many viewers will be able to get behind her story in the NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 finale.

Khoury took her demotion like a pro. This is something Quentin Carter commented on during the previous episode, which has helped the two get closer. Carter also shared that the man who had a hand in Khoury’s demotion had a hand in negative effects on another female agent’s career. It’s all connecting to the finale, which will see Khoury and the team take a fight against Deputy Director Van Cleef.

More from NCIS: New Orleans News

They find out that Van Cleef hasn’t just demoted Hannah and this agent Carter knew at NCIS Pearl Harbor. He’s affected more female careers than male ones, demoting them possibly for the smallest of infractions.

Naturally, this is going to put careers on the line. When you go up against a bully, that bully is likely to attack. But this is more than just a bully. NCIS: New Orleans is bringing a #MeToo storyline with a twist. It’s not clear if there have been sexual advances, but it’s clear that the deputy director is not a fan of women and will stall their careers. Now the team needs to prove it.

The problem is that this type of storyline isn’t one that could be wrapped up in one episode. Like getting to know Carter a little more, I have a feeling that Khoury’s story is going to be left on the line at the end of the NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 finale.

We have to remember that filming was halted on the show. The final episodes were written but will be held for another season—should another season happen. We may be left waiting until NCIS: New Orleans Season 7 premieres to find out what’s going to happen to Khoury.

My gut tells me that the episode will end with the team possibly split up at the hands of Deputy Director Van Cleef. The idea for the next episodes would be to bring the team back together. A couple of episodes would be enough time for that. It could also show Carter as part of the team, trying to bring everyone back together. I have a feeling we’ll be left with the team separated or Khoury or Pride at least removed from the team going into the unexpected break.
