The full list of TV crime dramas on Sundance Now next month

We’re coming up to a new month. Streaming services are revealing some of the TV shows and movies heading to their platforms, and Sundance Now has a bunch of TV crime dramas to look forward to.

There are six TV crime dramas you’ll want to check out. Well, five dramas and one documentary series that looks back at murders of the past. Are you ready to explore what’s available during the scariest month of the year?

We Got This finale

The final two episodes of We Got This will be available throughout the month. It’s time to continue the story that is George English. During the episodes, he becomes desperate to save his marriage, but he also needs to dive into the most absurd idea yet. Can he solve the murder?

The episodes are available on Thursday, Oct. 1 and 8.

One Lane Bridge finale

The final four episodes of One Lane Bridge will also air. Now that we know Grub’s death was a murder, it’s time to figure out who did it. Of course, everyone wants us to believe it’s Haggis, but Stephen’s wheelchair-bound wife, Lois, may have some sort of connection to the case.

The episodes air Thursdays throughout the month.

Interview with a Murderer

For fans of true-crime, you’ll want to pay attention to the three-part docuseries Interview with a Murderer. David Wilson, the world-renowned criminologist, takes us through a series of interviews conducted with Bert Spencer. Spencer was convicted of murder and was long-suspected of a 1978 murder of a young boy.

All three episodes are available on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Des

With the end of one series, Sundance Now stars another drama. Des is the one to watch out for throughout the month. David Tennant stars as Dennis Nilsen, one of the most infamous killers in UK history. A local civil servant, he murdered boys and men he found on Soho streets between 1978 and 1983. The three-part series looks into Dennis’s life and the stories of the 15 victims.

Episodes are released weekly starting on Thursday, Oct. 15.

The Dakota Entrapment Tapes

Needing more true-crime TV crime dramas? Turn your attention to The Dakota Entrapment Tapes at the end of the month. Told over two episodes, the docuseries looks at the North Dakota town where people don’t lock their front doors because the crime rate is so low. However, when Andrew Sadek mysterious disappears and turns up dead two months later, things change. Now everyone needs to know how he’d been coerced to his head.

Both episodes drop at once on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Witches: A Century of Murder

Finally, it’s time to understand the witch hunts that took over Britain in the 17th century. The two episodes see historian Suzannah Lipscomb investigate the past, looking at the start of the witch trials in Scotland and how they became a problem for the south of England. This isn’t just about understanding the roots, but getting to know the outcome of the trials.

Both episodes will be available together on Thursday, Oct. 29.
