Jenny struggles to trust herself on Coroner Season 2, Episode 7

Coroner Season 2, Episode 7 saw Gordon have a seizure and spend the episode in the hospital. It turned out he was taking Jenny’s medication, but was it Jenny’s doing or was something else going on?

One of the big questions throughout the season has been about Kelly. What has she been up to? What does she want?

We started to get a few answers during Coroner Season 2, Episode 7. Well, we at least got confirmation that our suspicions (and Jenny’s) were correct. Nobody was going crazy. It’s still not 100% clear what Kelly wants, but we know that she was the one responsible for the mess.

Jenny realized that someone had been slipping Gordon her medication instead of his own. Was it her while she was sleepwalking? Or was someone else involved?

It was all about Kelly.

Kelly has been lying from the start

Since her introduction in the Coroner Season 2 premiere, Kelly has lied. She said that the baby found buried was hers, but DNA evidence showed that wasn’t the case. Then Kelly told the story of it being a friend’s baby that she took.

Again, the evidence McAvoy found showed that wasn’t the case, either. Kelly was definitely the one pregnant, not her friend Holly. So, if Kelly was pregnant, what happened to her baby? How did she end up with a baby that wasn’t hers?

That’s become the big question now. The last we see of her she’s arguing with Noor. Is it possible that Noor has something to do with all this? I guess we’ll find out in the Coroner Season 2 finale next week.

Jenny also found out that Kelly was involved in the mess with Gordon’s medication. She had River test Kelly’s sweater for drugs, which came up positive. While it won’t hold up in court, Jenny can use it personally. And it proves that she’s not going crazy, something that she had worried about.

Is Gordon okay on Coroner Season 2, Episode 7?

The most important person after Coroner Season 2, Episode 7 is Gordon. Is he going to be okay after the medication mess.

The great news is that he’s awake. Of course, he’s still suffering from dementia, but he is awake. He and Jenny also had a heart-to-heart, stating that they will be honest about things that trigger them. They will be more open with each other when it comes to their own mental health struggles.

This is a huge step. It’s one that both Liam and Ross should take, but at least Liam isn’t ready for that. Hopefully, Ross will be ready to talk after everything that happened during this episode.

For now, the focus will be on Kelly. Jenny and McAvoy need to get to the bottom of this scam artist.
