FBI Season 4 is officially happening, but there are a few changes to the CBS fall 2021 schedule to be aware of. Here’s what we know about Season 4 so far.

CBS renewed the crime drama back in March 2021. Not only that, but CBS renewed the spin-off FBI: Most Wanted and ordered a second spin-off FBI: International. Dick Wolf’s productions are taking over TV across two networks.

The fall schedule is out, and this series certainly has pride of place. While it’s seeing a slight change, it’s actually potentially into a better timeslot and will act as a lead-in for the other two FBI shows.

Let’s take a look at what we do know about FBI Season 4 so far. We’ll bring updates as they happen.

FBI Season 4 premiere date

We start with the news of the timeslot change. CBS is moving NCIS out of the Tuesday 8/7c timeslot for the first time ever to give Mondays a better chance. FBI Season 4 is moving forward an hour to take over the timeslot.

This will allow the series to act as a lead-in for the new spin-off International, with Most Wanted keeping the last timeslot of the night.

We don’t have an exact premiere date just yet, but CBS is hoping to get the fall back to normal. We should probably expect the last week of September 2021.

FBI Season 4 cast

There probably won’t be too much of a chance to the cast. Of course, we’re still waiting for the season finale to air, so anything could happen. However, we’re expecting the following to return for the fourth season:

  • Missy Peregrym as Maggie Bell
  • Zeeko Zaki as Omar Adom “O. A.” Zidan
  • Jeremy Sisto as Jubal Valentine
  • Alana de la Garza as Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Isobel Castille
  • John Boyd as Stuart Scola
  • Katherine Renee Turner as Tiffany Wallace

We may see some of the characters from the spin-offs show up if there are crossovers.

FBI Season 4 trailer

There isn’t a trailer just yet, which isn’t all that surprising. The fourth season hasn’t started filming yet and probably won’t until July 2021. The trailer won’t be released until closer to the premiere date, and we’ll be sure to share once it’s out.

FBI Season 4 synopsis

There isn’t a synopsis for the season, but this is a procedural drama. Each episode is another case for the team to solve, so we’re expecting more of the same. Of course, there will also be character development for the teammates at the same time.
