As broadcast networks quieten down for the summer, we’re turning to streaming services to keep us busy. Here are the TV crime dramas heading to Acorn TV in June 2021.

The likes of NCIS, Chicago PD, and FBI are coming to an end for another season. We’ll go the summer months with little to discuss when it comes to the big TV crime dramas on the broadcast networks.

That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to watch. The streaming networks have us covered with plenty of content. One of the streaming platforms that never disappoints for crime dramas is Acorn TV.

There are many TV crime dramas heading to Acorn TV throughout the month. Here’s each one in release date order to get your viewing schedule in order.

Ms. Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries Season 2

The first two episodes of the new season will drop on Monday, June 7. The show is getting a weekly release after that.

The series is a spin-off of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, and follows Miss Fisher’s niece, Ms. Fisher. Set in the 1960s, we follow Peregrine Fisher who is an adventurous private detective following in her aunt’s footsteps. After inheriting a windfall from her aunt, she steps out on her own to continue solving murder mysteries.

Whistable Pearl

The British series continues throughout June. Pearl Nolan continues to work through the case that she’s sure is suspicious. However, when she starts to get notes warning her off, she realizes that she has her work cut out for her.

The episodes continue weekly, with the season finale airing on Monday, June 21.

The Real Manhunter

If you prefer a binge-watch, you’ll want to check out The Real Manhunter. Before you watch it, check out Manhunt on Acorn TV starring Martin Clunes. The new series follows the real Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton, who spent 30 years investigating some of the most high-profile cases.

The series explores Sutton’s past cases, looking at the crimes and his breakthrough moments. He also looks at how he managed to secure enough evidence each time to ensure a conviction.

All eight episodes drop on Monday, June 14.

The Sommerdahl Murders Season 2

Detective Chief Inspector Dan Sommerdahl is back, investigating the murders along a lovely Danish coastal town.

There aren’t many details of what the cases will involve in the second season. However, it picks up with where each of the personal relationships ended in the first season. Dan, his best friend Flemming Torp, and his wife Marianne will need to continue working together to solve crimes.

All eight episodes drop on Monday, June 21.

Candice Renoir Season 2

This series is only going to be available in the United States on Acorn TV. It continues to follow Candice Renoir, who returned to solving crimes after putting her career on hold for 10 years. Not only does she need to solve the crimes, but she needs to earn the trust from her team back.

While she worked through a few issues in the first season, there’s still more to come up. Candice needs to turn her weaknesses into her strengths if she wants to solve the most complex criminal cases.

All 10 episodes are available on Monday, June 28.

Proof Seasons 1 and 2

When 23 Eastern European illegal immigrants are found dead inside a freight container, the police need to do everything they can to figure out what’s going on. It doesn’t help that it’s not the only problem. There’s a car thief with a laptop full of dangerous data and a disgraced journalist who meets with a woman searching for her sister. That sister may have been sold into sex trafficking, connecting back to the main story.

Both seasons will drop together. In total there are 10 episodes available on Monday, June 28.
