With the way things ended in Season 2, you’ll be happy to hear that FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 is happening. Here’s what we know so far.

The second season ended with a few lives in the balance. We watched as Jess and Kenny walked into Jess’s house armed after seeing Sarah’s ex walk in. Gunshots were heard, but we have no idea who fired the shots and if anyone was injured or killed.

FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 is happening. That means we’ll at least get to see the next part of the story, and we knew that going into the Season 2 finale.

Now our eyes are on what we know about FBI: Most Wanted Season 3. When will it arrive on our screens, and just how many episodes will we get to the season? Here’s what we know so far.

How many seasons of FBI: Most Wanted are there?

Right now, there are two seasons of the series on Paramount+. You can watch the episodes as much as you’d like.

The third season will arrive sometime in fall 2021. Those episodes will air on CBS and be available on Paramount+.

Is Season 3 of FBI: Most Wanted going to happen?

Yes, there is definitely going to be a third season. CBS renewed the show along with FBI Season 4 early in 2021. We also got to find out that a new spin-off FBI: International is on its way.

How many episodes are in FBI: Most Wanted Season 3?

It’s not 100% clear just how many episodes will be in the season. The first season was supposed to have 22–24 episodes but was cut short due to the pandemic. Then the second season had to be reduced to 16 episodes since it took so long to start filming and then filming each episode took longer due to the COVID protocols.

While we shouldn’t see a delay in getting started with filming this year, we’ll potentially see delays filming each episode because the COVID protocols are still in place. This could mean a shorter to normal season for another year. We’re potentially looking at 16 to 18 episodes.

When is FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 filming?

Filming hasn’t started yet, and it’s not clear when filming will be able to get started. FBI: Most Wanted Season 2 was one of the last shows to get started with filming in 2020. However, we are expecting mid-summer filming as would be usual since the COVID protocols don’t need to be set up any more.

FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 release date

FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 is part of the fall 2021 schedule. It’ll keep its Tuesday night 10/9c timeslot after episodes of FBI Season 4 and FBI: International Season 1.

There isn’t an exact premiere date just yet. However, we’re expecting the end of September as would be normal for the fall schedule to start.
