As we inch closer to the Kung Fu Season 1 finale, there’s no doubt that you want to get ready for Kung Fu Season 2. Here’s what we know so far.

There is a little bit of good news to start off. While we are getting closer to the Season 1 finale, we’re going into it with confidence. It doesn’t matter how it ends, the next part of the story will be told. Just episodes into the series, The CW renewed Kung Fu for a second season.

It made sense. Like Walker and Superman & Lois, the martial arts crime drama made it clear that it was a series to watch. It immediately became one of the most popular dramas on the network, so renewing was a no-brainer.

Now all eyes are on when that season will arrive. Here’s everything about Kung Fu Season 2 so far.

How many seasons of Kung Fu are there?

There is currently one season of the series available on The CW. You can watch all aired episodes on The CW App, but there are still three episodes of the season left to air. They’ll come to The CW App the day after each one airs.

Is Season 2 of Kung Fu going to happen?

Season 2 is definitely going to happen. As mentioned, it didn’t take long for the series to get renewed by The CW.

How many episodes are in Kung Fu Season 2?

It’s not clear exactly how many episodes will be in Season 2, but it’s probably going to be around 13. That’s the number of episodes in the first season, and it’s looking like the second season will be a midseason show. The CW tends to stick to between 13 and 16 episodes for midseason shows.

When is Kung Fu Season 2 filming?

It’s not clear exactly when filming will begin. Many CW shows film during the summer, but Kung Fu is a midseason show. It could get away with filming a little later. We’ll let you know as soon as we get an idea.

Kung Fu Season 2 release date

One thing we know right now is that Kung Fu Season 2 won’t premiere in 2021. It wasn’t part of the fall schedule for The CW, suggesting that it’s going to be part of the midseason schedule.

Things aren’t quite back to normal for The CW, so it’s hard to say when the midseason schedule will begin. We’re looking at January 2022 at the earliest.

Update: Kung Fu Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, March 9 at 9/8c on The CW.
