Only Murders In The Building -- Episode 101 -- From the minds of Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman and John Hoffman comes a comedic murder-mystery series for the ages. “Only Murders In The Building” follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building which stretch back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. With so many shows not returning next month, you’re likely on the lookout for something new. That means turning to streaming platforms. Many viewers are doing the exact same thing.

Only Murders in the Building is one of the most anticipated new shows arriving in August 2021. It’s coming to Hulu, and here’s all you need to know.

What is Only Murders in the Building about?

Technically, this series is a comedy from Steve Martin. However, there’s sure to be some drama to it, and it’s certainly something you’ll want to watch if you love the likes of The Rookie (especially the first season).

Only Murders in the Building follows three people who live in the same apartment building. After a murder, the three join together to go snooping in the guy’s apartment and start a podcast. Their aim is to solve the murder, documenting everything along the way.

The simple rule is to never trust anyone when it comes to the neighbors. The three true-crime podcasters are certainly going to find themselves in some tricky (and hilarious) situations.

Steve Martin and John Hoffman created the series, with Martin starring in the show. He’s joined by Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Gomez is also an executive producer on the series.

With 10 episodes coming out, you’re sure to have something to keep you entertained while waiting for your favorite TV crime dramas.
