Magnum PI Season 4 release date updates: Is a new season coming? When is it coming out?

There isn’t long before Magnum PI Season 4 comes to CBS, and it holds its Friday night timeslot. Here’s everything we know about the new season so far.

We’re certainly ready for this new season. The show was one of the first renewed by CBS after a delayed start and an on-off schedule. It was certainly good news, even though we found out the usual Friday night lineup wouldn’t be the same.

Instead, the series will be joined by SWAT kicking off Friday nights. There will then be a time when a reality show acts as a lead-in, and it will be interesting to see how Fridays work with that.

But let’s focus on what to expect in Magnum PI Season 4. When can we expect it, and will it be the last season? Here’s what we know so far.

How many seasons of Magnum PI are there?

Right now, there are three seasons of the series to enjoy on Paramount+. The fourth season will premiere in the fall, where it will air on the network and then be available to watch on the streaming platform.

Is Season 4 of Magnum PI going to happen?

Yes, there is definitely going to be a fourth season. This was confirmed back in April 2021, along with four other CBS shows. The renewal wasn’t all too surprising considering the series performs well on Friday nights.

We’re hoping there will be more of this show. It’s all doing to depend on the live ratings.

How many episodes are in Magnum PI Season 4?

There is no confirmation on the episode count just yet. Usually, fall shows get around 22 episodes, but things haven’t been usual for the last few years thanks to the pandemic. There is a chance that filming delays could cause problems and lead to a shortened season once more. That’s what NCIS: LA Season 13 is looking at, and it could be the case for all CBS shows.

When is Magnum PI Season 4 filming?

The show has already started filming. It received the traditional Hawaiian blessing, and there is a lot of hope that there won’t be any filming delays.

Magnum PI Season 4 release date

CBS has set the premiere dates for the series, including the Magnum PI Season 4 premiere date. We’ll get it on Friday, Oct. 1. The show will keep the 9/8c timeslot that’s done so well for it for the last two seasons.

Episodes will be available on Paramount+ the following day. Streaming numbers are important just like live ratings. If a show is struggling live but performing well on streaming, it can lead to the show getting moved to the streaming platform to keep it going.
