Is FBI: International on tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 23?
It’s another Tuesday, and another night of crime dramas. The big question is whether a new episode of FBI: International is on tonight.
Tuesdays are all about the three FBI shows. FBI: International is the newest of the three and is already proving to be a success. It’s certainly likely to be renewed for a second season, but that’s not the topic of discussion tonight.
We’re in need of a new episode tonight. Is that happening? Sadly not. FBI: International, along with the other two shows, is taking a break from new episodes. That break is going to happen for two weeks.
The good news is we’ll get a rerun of the show. We’ll get to watch the fourth episode, titled “American Optimism,” tonight. This is the episode where an American citizen walks into the American Embassy in Spain covered in his boyfriend’s blood.
Why isn’t a new episode of FBI: International on tonight?
The break this week is likely twofold. The biggest reason is the pandemic. Filming of each episode takes longer than it used to because of the protocols in place. This means the episodes aired catch up to those that are ready to air, and more time is needed to get some episodes through post-production.
Another reason is that it’s Thanksgiving week. Many networks will put their shows on a break this week because of the risk of people traveling. There’s a risk of the live ratings being much lower than normal.
This break is the same as the last one. We’re going to see a rerun next Tuesday, too. The new episode will air on Tuesday, Dec. 7. The Fly Team is staying on Budapest for this episode, when there’s a bombing at a local festival that has killed and injured Americans. Vo will need to revaluate dating while in the FBI when her new boyfriend is caught up in the blast.
FBI: International airs an all-new episode on Tuesday, Dec. 7. Catch up on episodes the following day on Paramount+.
