Jess, Barnes, and their families were caught in a mall shooting in the FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 fall finale. Did they all make it out alive?
When you put family members of main characters in the middle of a dangerous situation, there’s always the risk that one of them will be killed off. That was certainly the case when you consider Terry O’Quinn’s Byron was in the mall.
We spent time in FBI: Most Wanted Season 2 watching Byron and Jess work on their relationship. It was clear Byron wasn’t the dad Jess wanted or needed, but he has been working on changing to be a good grandfather to Tali. Would it all lead to Byron sacrificing his life to save his son and granddaughter?
And what about Charlotte? She was in the mall but it looked like she might have got out before the shooting started. Then Barnes found out the truth. Just as it looked like Charlotte could get out, her waters broke. Would it lead to something bad happening?
And we also can’t overlook the retired cop who was in the mall shopping for a new cell phone. His son was an NYPD cop outside just wanting to get in. It felt like something bad was going to happen here.
Did everyone survive the FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 fall finale?
Surprisingly, nobody major died in the FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 fall finale. There were nameless casualties and the shooters were killed, but all the main players made it out of the episode alive.
Charlotte gave birth to a baby boy in an ambulance, but even that birth didn’t see anything major happen in terms of complications.
Byron was able to help Gaines get into the mall from the roof. Meanwhile, Barnes was able to figure out the fifth bomb (the one with the timer set) was in The Tomb. That meant a trip back to the security room to get the security guard out of there.
The retired cop put his life on the line. With just 15 seconds left before the bomb detonated, he ran it down an empty hallway. However, he must have thrown it before it went off because Jess found him still alive.
The episode gave Tali a chance for being mean to Sarah. It also gave Jess a chance to give Tali his blessing about going to boarding school after she learned she got in. There’s a lot of change coming for Jess.
