Tank isn’t fairing too well on FBI: International. He had to face surgery on the recent episode, but what’s wrong with him, and will he survive?

We’re worried about one member of the Fly Team. It’s all about Tank right now. The four-legged member of the team couldn’t head to Bulgaria and had to face surgery without Forrester close by.

Forrester took Tank to the vet, and we got to hear the backstory of how the two of them came together. Forrester saved Tank from being retired—Tank was seven at the time, and I didn’t catch if he said how long ago it was. Tank is an aging dog, and I get the feeling this was added in as a warning for us.

Anyway, it turned out that Tank has a lump in his throat and the vet didn’t think it was benign. It would mean tests, and Forrester okayed for them to happen while he was away on a case.

Tank needed surgery on FBI: International

While on the case, Jamie got a call. The vet had tried to get hold of Forrester, but couldn’t. He needed permission to do surgery on Tank. There was another lump in Tank’s intestines. Of course, Jamie gave the okay. She wants Tank to be healthy too.

Things aren’t looking great, though. Forrester and Jamie won’t find out the full prognosis for another couple of days, which means the next episode at least. We were left with Forrester stroking Tank, who was still hooked up to an IV drip.

Will Tank survive on FBI: International?

We just don’t know if Tank is going to be okay. Episode 11 of the season is titled “Chew Toy,” and we’re hoping that means Tank will make it through surgery and get an all-clear in returning to the field.

If not the field, we hope FBI: International goes the root of SEAL Team. When Cerberus got to retirement, Jason Hayes ended up adopting him. Cerberus was able to remain part of the family. That could happen here. Couldn’t Forrester just have Tank around as a pet rather than a working dog? We know there’s a bond there.

Hopefully, “Chew Toy” isn’t the title for a sadder reason. We hope it doesn’t mean that Forrester is using a chew toy as a way to remember a passed dog. My heart can’t cope with that.
