Will Jamie and Forrester get back together on FBI: International?

Forrester has lied for Jamie, but that wasn’t what she wanted. Now they’re on a break on FBI: International. Can they work through this?

The Fly Team headed to Northern Ireland when one of Jamie’s informants called her for help. It turned out that it was a bigger problem than it initially seemed, especially when Jamie’s informant was far higher in the IRA than he initially told her.

However, there were further problems for Jamie. Her involvement in activities in Prague have come up, and at the very end of the episode, there was a grainy photo of Jamie throwing a gun into the water, where the gun was later found.

Jamie didn’t have to come up with an alibi. Forrester did that for her without even checking in on whether she wanted him to do that. The things people do for love, right?

Jamie didn’t want the alibi on FBI: International

Jamie wasn’t happy with Forrester giving out the false alibi. This puts him in danger of losing his own freedom and job. They both know that lying to federal agents is a crime. And this is more than Forrester just covering for a member of his team. He’s covering for his girlfriend, who happens to be one of his subordinates.

The end of the episode saw Jamie tell Forrester that she wants a break. She needs to figure things out.

Shouldn’t she be happy that he lied for her, or is that the problem? We know from an earlier episode of FBI: International that Jamie has dated people she’s worked with before. Her mom said “again” when Jamie shared the truth about the relationship.

Is Jamie getting cold feet? Forrester lying for her shows how much he cares about her. That could have scared her as she realizes that she wouldn’t do the same thing for him.

Will the two manage to make it work? If it is fear of commitment, Jamie will need to work through that herself. If it is just the fact that Forrester is willing to give her a false alibi and treat her differently, that is a bigger problem. It doesn’t seem like something Forrester would ever be willing not to do.
