Did Cassie kill Ronald on Big Sky Season 2?

If Big Sky Season 2, Episode 12 felt like a season finale, you’re certainly not alone in that. What happened to Ronald at the end of the episode?

Caution: There are spoilers for Big Sky Season 2, Episode 12 in this post.

There was a lot happening in Big Sky Season 2, Episode 12. The promo promised us something big would happen, and the episode certainly didn’t disappoint. Cassie finally came face-to-face with Ronald after a season of playing cat and mouse. Would it end the way Cassie wanted?

Cassie and Lindor ended up tracking Ronald down with Wolf’s help. He’d placed a tracking chip in Ronald, making it easier for him to find Ronald should anything go wrong. That explains a lot from the previous episodes now. So, it’s not surprising that Cassie and Lindor are able to get to the house that Scarlett got Ronald to for treatment.

Cassie and Ronald come face-to-face in Big Sky Season 2

Cassie and Lindor entered the house alone. It became a bit of a cat and mouse game, though. Ronald was not going to make it easy for Cassie to take him down.

There was a moment when it looked like Ronald was going to kill Cassie. Then Phoebe walked into the barn, and Ronald couldn’t hurt Cassie in front of her. Once Phoebe left to return to her mom, Cassie killed Ronald from behind.

Ronald went down saying one thing: I am a good boy. This whole time, it looks like he wanted to be reformed in the way Wolf tried.

The search is on for Scarlett and Phoebe

This wasn’t the season finale, though. It certainly felt like it with Cassie finally killing Ronald, but it turns out he’s not the biggest threat to the world. Scarlett is a much bigger threat.

She and Phoebe managed to get away during the episode. Cassie couldn’t make sense of that when Jenny told her. Shouldn’t there have been people watching for Scarlett and Phoebe? It’s not like Phoebe was gone all that long between Cassie killing Ronald and Jenny turning up with backup.

So, the search is on for Phoebe and Scarlett. How much damage will Scarlett do considering how much she’s already done?
