What’s going on with Mabel in Only Murders in the Building Season 2?
The most recent episode of Only Murders in the Building Season 2 ended with Mabel in a compromising situation. What is going on with her female lead?

There was a lot going on in the most recent episode of Only Murders in the Building Season 2. We got a narration from one of Cinda Canning’s employees, who isn’t happy with the situation she’s found herself in. She’s now on Mabel’s side, offering to help the trio of podcasters any way they need it. She knows where the bodies are buried, but how figuratively is she talking?
Meanwhile, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel think they have something that can help. They text Detective Williams on the number she texted from the night of Bunny’s murder. Remember that Williams says she didn’t text them, but they don’t believe her. Well, that text wasn’t from her but from the murderer, who now has the fingerprint on the matchbook.
If that wasn’t enough, we’re dealing with a video gone viral. After hanging up the phone, Mabel sees that the killer is on the subway with her. The next we see is someone filming Mabel stabbing this guy dressed in glitter with one of her knitting needles, and then she runs off.
Did Mabel actually kill Bunny in Only Murders in the Building Season 2?
It looks like Mabel may have done it. We already know during this episode that Mabel has somewhat of a violent past. A guy blames her for losing his hand, although it turns out he was handsy and really it was just karma when Mabel pushed him away from her. However, now, it looks like her first instinct is to kill when being attacked.
That’s certainly what it looks like on the train. We know Mabel wouldn’t kill in cold blood. The only reason she would stab someone is if she felt threatened, and the killer being on the subway would definitely make her feel threatened.
The bad news is that this is now viral. That’s surely going to bring the police knocking on her doorstep again. That is if this wasn’t all staged in some way.
Was it the murderer? Is it possible that this was some sort of publicity stunt by someone else? Alice is doing a Bloody Mabel exhibit. Do we really put it past her to set up something on the subway? And what about Cinda Canning who wants the trio to be the murderers. Is she setting something up making it look like Mabel killed?
We’ll have to see what happens in the next episode. If this was real, there will be a body, right?
