As we get closer to the finale, we finally get some answers in Only Murders in the Building Season 2. Where was the real painting?

There is just one episode left of Only Murders in the Building Season 2. That means we’re going to finally get the killer revealed. Before that, we will get a few answers here and there. One of those was about the real painting.

Bunny’s painting was placed in Charles’s apartment as a way to frame the podcasters. However, it turned out the painting was a forgery. The podcasters had to figure out the location of the real painting, but that could have been sold off to anyone.

It turns out that it wasn’t sold off at all. It was right under the podcasters’ noses…well, a certain beak actually!

The painting was in the cage in Only Murders in the Building

Oliver was fed up with Bunny’s bird talking all night so rolled it into Charles’s apartment. With a shake, a trap door under the cage opened up. It turned out the painting was there all along.

Charles got in touch with Bunny’s mother Lenora Folger, who turned out to be Rose Cooper. Rose admitted to pretending to be Lenora, but she really did want to get her hands on the painting. She only pretended to be Lenora to get into the Arconia once and admitted just how hard that was. She doesn’t know how actors do it.

In the end, someone pushy with glasses who may or may not be Cinda Canning questioned Rose about the painting. From there, Rose decided to pretend to be Lenora for a little longer. It was stressful.

This part of the episode is more about Charles finding out a little more about his father. He knew his father was awful to his mother, but it turns out Charles Sr. was nice to Rose. I guess that is possible knowing the cheating, lying, [insert whatever you want to call him here] I married, but Charles seemed a little too forgiving of Rose. I guess for Charles it could be water under the bridge just to get to know there was another side to his father after all.

But at least the mystery of the painting is solved. Now for the mystery of who killed Bunny in Only Murders in the Building.

Will there be an NCIS crossover in fall 2022?. dark. Next

Who do you think killed Bunny? What did you think of Charles and Rose’s scene? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
