FBI: International Season 2 is officially happening, and it will be here before we know it. What can we expect in the new season?
We’re certainly ready to see the Fly Team back in action. Sadly, the team will be one member down, but there is a new member joining.
As of right now, we don’t have that many details. What we do know is the show will continue with the same premise. The Fly Team will head around Europe to help American citizens or capture them depending on the mission handed to them.
FBI: International Season 2 premiere date
We do have a premiere date. CBS has confirmed that FBI: International Season 2 will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 20.
The show will keep the 9 p.m. ET/PT timeslot, sandwiched between the OG series and Most Wanted. There are no signs that there will be a three-way crossover for the premiere, so we shouldn’t see the series temporarily bumped to 10 p.m. ET to make the crossover with Most Wanted work.
FBI: International Season 2 cast
The only member of the cast we know leaving is Christiane Paul. We got to see everyone say goodbye to Jaeger at the end of the first season, but it took a while for the series to confirm Paul wouldn’t be back.
Eva-Jane Willis will join the cast as the Europol agent. She’ll play Megan “Smitty” Garretson, who has undercover experience, which could come in use for the team. The question is whether she’ll follow every order from Europol or make sure the Fly Team can work without a hitch.
We do know that Green will return as Tank. There were fears that we’d lose the four-legged member of the team, but he’s coming out of retirement this season.
Other cast members returning are:
- Luke Kleintank as Scott Forrester
- Heida Reed as Jamie Kellett
- Carter Redwood as Andre Raines
- Vinessa Vidotto as Cameron Vo
FBI: International Season 2 promo
CBS is still to release a promo for the season. This could come any day now to get us ready for the new season. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on this.
FBI: International Season 2 synopsis
The synopsis for the first episode isn’t out yet. What we do know is the series will follow the same format as the first season. Why change something that is working? We’ll follow the team as they travel Europe on various missions. Sometimes they need to capture American fugitives. Other times, they need to prove the Americans are innocent of crimes.
There should be focus back on Forrester and his connection to his mother. He helped his mom at the end of the first season, and that’s sure to come back onto him.
FBI: International Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9/c on CBS. Catch up on Paramount+.
