How long do we need to wait for more Reagan family dinners? The wait is almost over. Here’s everything we know about Blue Bloods Season 13 so far.

We are more than ready to see the Reagan family sit down for more family dinners. Not only is there good news that it’s going to happen, but we also know that it’s happening soon. There are a few changes coming, but nothing too major to make the show lose its general feeling.

What exactly do we know about the season so far? Here are all the details, with updates to come as they happen.

Blue Bloods Season 13 premiere date

We don’t have to wait too much longer. However, this isn’t a show arriving at the same time as NCIS, FBI, and other fall shows. We have to wait until Friday, Oct. 7.

It’s not too clear why there is this wait. It’s likely linked to the premiere of Fire Country. We know Max Thieriot had to pull double duty for that and SEAL Team, which would have delayed some of Fire Country‘s filming schedule. That would have had a knock-on effect with the premiere date. CBS will want to keep all Friday dramas together for consistency in the schedule.

Blue Bloods is going to air at 10 p.m. ET on Fridays, as usual.

Blue Bloods Season 13 cast

We’re not expecting to see anyone leave the series in the new season. That means the following are set to return:

  • Tom Selleck as NYPD Police Commissioner Francis “Frank” Reagan
  • Donnie Wahlberg as Detective 1st Grade Daniel “Danny” Reagan
  • Bridget Moynahan as ADA Erin Reagan
  • Will Estes as Sergeant Jamison “Jamie” Reagan
  • Len Cariou as Henry Reagan
  • Marisa Ramirez as Detective 1st Grade Maria Baez
  • Vanessa Ray as Officer Edit “Eddie” Janko-Reagan

We do know that Erin Reagan is going for District Attorney in the new season. That election will likely take place around November to stick with the timing in the real world, so we should see what that storyline brings very soon.

There isn’t a trailer out just yet. That’s not surprising with the show not premiering until October. We’ll keep an eye out for the release of the trailer.

Blue Bloods Season 13 synopsis

There isn’t a synopsis for the first episode of the season just yet. What we can expect is much of the same from previous seasons. We’ll see the Reagan family deal with crime in their own way and come together for regular family dinners.
