The first NCIS three-way crossover is coming. Who will be involved? When will it air? Here’s what we know about the crossover so far.

We’re certainly ready to see an epic NCIS three-way crossoverAfter all, we’ve had some two-episode crossovers, and we got the historic Law & Order three-way crossover as their three premieres this season. When shows are set in the same universe, we’d love to see the characters meet up with each other.

COVID has certainly caused problems for filming. To make it a little harder for the NCIS shows, Hawaii films in a completely different location compared to the other two shows. While the main series and Los Angeles film in L.A., Hawaii films in the titular location. It makes doing crossovers a little harder, although we’ve seen not impossible.

NCIS three-way crossover is happening

A three-way crossover is officially happening. At the moment, we’re expecting the episodes to air in January 2023. This could change as filming happens if there are schedule delays for whatever reason. As we saw this past January, football can also end up preempting an episode, which could cause frustration for fans when it comes to a three-way crossover event. We need all the episodes to run back-to-back.

TVLine reports that Gary Cole, Wilmer Valderrama, and Brian Dietzen are on board from the OG series. Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J are on board from NCIS: Los Angeles, while Vanessa Lachey, Yasmine AL-Bustami, and Noah Mills are coming in from the Hawaii-set series. That means we have Parker, Torres, Jimmy, Callen, Sam, Tennant, Lucy, and Jesse. Of course, each of the episodes will likely have the main cast as the specific team members go between the cities.

The teams will be hunting down a hitman. It’s not clear how the crossover will work just yet, but it would make sense to start with Los Angeles, airing on the Sunday night, and then run through NCIS and finish with Hawaii on Monday night.
