One of Us Is Lying: Chibuikem Uche, Annalisa Cochrane, and Jess McLeod talk Season 2

We go into One of Us Is Lying Season 2 with more murder and mayhem. Chibuikem Uche, Annalisa Cochrane, and Jess McLeod discuss where their characters are at and tease what to expect.

The end of One of Us Is Lying Season 1 saw Murder Club figure out the truth behind Simon’s death. It was Jake, and they took care of that problem. The problem is someone knows how they took care of the Jake problem.

Season 2 is going to push us into another mystery. Simon Says is out there and is threatening to reveal all. Where are our favorite characters at during this season?

Janae is worried about Addy in One of Us Is Lying Season 2

During our exclusive interview with the case, Jess McLeod explained that Janae is worried about Addy. Why would Janae be so worried about Addy’s mindset at this point in the series?

"“The reason that Janae is in Murder Club is Addy. At the beginning of the season, Janae doesn’t really have a reason to have close relationships with any of the other people. So I think that Addy is going through a lot…she has to unpack a lot of trauma, and we know from Season 1 that Janae is the most ride-or-die, loyal person. So Janae is going to make sure Addy doesn’t ruin her life in any way.”"

Everyone certainly needs a ride-or-die friend, so it’s good to see Addy has someone. When you see the first episode, you’ll see why Addy needs Janae in her corner, but this friendship isn’t all one-sided.

Cooper has baseball in One of Us Is Lying Season 2

Meanwhile, Chibuikem Uche talked a little about Cooper trying to get his life back on track. All Cooper has ever wanted is to play baseball. Is it still important to him after everything that’s happened?

"“I think baseball remains a priority, but I think his eyes open a bit. I think having a core group of solid people around him…and a love interest in Kris…and his dad’s motivations…I think that opens his eyes.”"

What about a chance at a normal life? Is it even possible?

"“I think there’s a moment in the season where you’re close to rock bottom and the only way to go is up, and I think where they get to experience that. I won’t say much more, but I think around Episode 5 there’s a moment.”"

Addy believes it’s all her fault

The group is driven by the outside force, this Simon Says character throughout One of Us Is Lying Season 2, but Addy has a lot more on her plate, and Annalisa Cochrane expanded on that a little.

"“It’s rough for that poor girl. I think she’s wrestling with not only what she found out about Jake, but one, not knowing this side to him but two, really believing that this is all her fault….She has to come to terms with the fact that it’s not her fault.”"

It is a big journey for Addy throughout the season, and it’s more than worth the watch.
