We are definitely ready to check back in with the Hawaii team. When is that going to happen? Is NCIS: Hawaii on tonight, Monday, Jan. 2?

There is some bad news. NCIS: Hawaii is not going to return this week, even though it was supposed to. There was the plan to bring all three episodes of the three-way crossover on Jan. 2, but the date has been pushed back. It’s not clear why the date has been pushed back.

The good news is there will be a rerun of the series. We’re going back to the September 2022 episode “Blind Curves,” which sees the team looking into the world of illegal street racing.

When will NCIS: Hawaii return with new episodes?

There is some good news. We’re not waiting much longer for the new episode to return. It’s just a week longer than initially expected. We’ll get the episode on Monday, Jan. 9.

The episode is going to air an hour earlier than normal. You’ll actually want to tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT that night, though. This week is the one with the three-episode crossover, which starts with the OG series in the first hour. Hawaii will take over the second hour, and then Los Angeles will air in the last hour of the night.

In the second hour of the crossover, Tennant is captured along with Jimmy Palmer and Sam Hanna by a woman who claims to be a CIA agent. She wants intel from the team, and will only give the team members over when she gets the information. Some of the Hawaii members are going to be part of the other two episodes, and that includes Lucy Tara coming back.
