“Pilot” – Inspired by James Cameron’s hit action/comedy film of the same name, TRUE LIES follows Harry Tasker (Steve Howey), a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen (Ginger Gonzaga), a language professor bored with her daily routine, who makes the shocking discovery that her seemingly ordinary husband is leading an extraordinary double life. With the secret out, Omega recruits Helen, who impresses everyone with her formidable skills (thanks to Tae Bo and yoga), and she joins Harry and his team of top-notch operatives, embarking on covert missions around the globe and an exhilarating life of danger and adventure – all while keeping their adventures a secret from their children. The renewed bond between them adds much-needed sizzle to the Taskers’ emotionally distant marriage and upends the top-secret world of Omega Sector. But, as Harry says, if you’re going to save the world, you might as well do it for the ones you love, on the series premiere of TRUE LIES, Wednesday, March 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and available on the CBS app and streaming on Paramount+. As True Lies continues its first season, a question for viewers is how many episodes are left.

Based on the 1994 James Cameron hit, the show focuses on Harry Tasker (Steve Howey), who has been hiding how he’s a secret agent for Omega Sector, a branch of the U.S. government. When a trip to Paris goes awry, Harry’s wife, Helen (Ginger Gonzaga), discovers the truth about her husband’s life. She’s soon recruited into Omega Sector herself and handling balancing saving the world with family issues at home.

The show has aired three episodes so far, showing the fun dynamics of Harry and Helen’s missions. The question fans may now have is how many episodes are there left in the season and the chances of a renewal.

How many episodes are left in True Lies Season 1?

According to IMDB, the series is set to have 13 episodes in its first season. This is standard for a midseason show debuting in March and not much different than other network shows currently airing.

The season is set to end on Wednesday, May 17 with a two-part finale. It’s unsure yet if this is a two-part storyline or simply the last two episodes airing back to back.

Also unsure is if the show will return as CBS has yet to make any definite announcement. While the ratings have been so-so, CBS may decide to keep the show on in hopes it builds its audience and the action vibe fitting for its Wednesday night programming.

Thus, there are 10 episodes left for True Lies Season 1 as fans are hopeful for another year of the series giving new life to an old property.
