Is Blue Bloods new tonight on CBS? (March 24, 2023)

Last Friday night, Blue Bloods fans were met with some disappointing news when they settled in to catch a new episode only to instead be greeted with coverage of the annual March Madness tournament instead. It definitely was a disappointing way to end the week as typically if there is not a new episode of Blue Bloods, there is typically at least a rerun to enjoy.

Sadly, if you were hoping CBS’s March Madness coverage was going to be a one-off, we regret to inform you CBS will again be bumping its Friday night lineup this week for basketball.

Tonight, Blue Bloods, SWAT, and Fire Country will all be taking the week off as CBS turns its primetime block over to March Madness. The action will begin with coverage of the Miami vs. Houston game which kicks off at 7/6c and will continue with Xavier vs Texas at 9:30/8:30c.

Is Blue Bloods new next week? (March 31, 2023)

After being benched for the last two weeks to make way for March Madness coverage, Blue Bloods will finally return to CBS’s schedule next Friday night with a brand-new episode planned for March 31! Not only will Blue Bloods be back next week, but fans are in place for a fun and action-packed episode as season 13 resumes next Friday.

In the episode, Erin creates an unexpected alliance with Jack and Anthony after she finds herself in hot water and facing a damaging accusation. Elsewhere in the episode, Jamie and Eddie will find themselves at odds over a discovery Jamie makes about one of Eddie’s friends; Frank is faced with a difficult decision about an officer’s future; and Danny and Baez must battle their biases as they work their latest case.
