We would love to see more new cases for Intelligence, but there is some bad news. Chicago PD is airing reruns for the rest of the month.

As we get closer to May, we knew there was a chance that we’d end up our favorite shows going on a break. That’s the case for the entire One Chicago lineup over the next few weeks. Chicago PD is one of the shows that will not air any new episodes throughout the rest of the month.

That’s right; there are no new episodes of the series in April 2023. When the show does return, it’s going to be with the last run of episodes before the finale.

When will Chicago PD return with new episodes on NBC?

NBC made it clear with the promo for the new episode that it wouldn’t air in April. Instead, we need to wait until Wednesday, May 3. This is disappointing for those who want new episodes, but at least there are reruns to keep us entertained until the return.

When the show does return, we’re getting back to Atwater and his dad. Their relationship was left on some rocky ground the last time we saw Atwater’s dad, but there was some hope things could change. Well, things could end up a little rocky again when the show returns. A kid goes missing and a neighbor claims that Atwater’s father knows this kid.

Voight wants to know why Atwater’s dad would be in the bar. What does the bar have to do with the missing kid? That’s what we need to find out when the series returns.

Looking at the calendar, we could have the Chicago PD Season 10 finale on Wednesday, May 24. This is assuming there are 22 episodes to the season this year.
