The Company You Keep spoilers: Who’s getting arrested in Season 1 Episode 8?
The Company You Keep has another new episode that puts the family’s con games right up against their deal with the CIA and Charlie and Emma’s relationship stuck in the middle.
The last episode of the ABC crime drama had Emma and Charlie embarking on a new relationship as Emma now knew Charlie and his family were con artists. She gave the family a choice of working with her to take down Daphne or go to jail with her. She also made it clear she and Charlie were through as a couple.
However, when Charlie worked with Daphne on a job at a resort, Emma was clearly jealous of how close they were getting. It was complicated clashing with the FBI running their own investigation as Charlie won Daphne’s trust.
Meanwhile, Birdie finally learned the reason her ex Simon left years ago: Leo had found Simon passed out drunk with daughter Ollie alone in the bathtub and told him never to come back. Birdie was upset with both, even as Simon insisted she had changed.
That set up this new dynamic for the series, which will continue in this week’s episode.

“The Art of the Steel” has Daphne intent on breaking her father, Patrick out of jail and using the family for it. The promo shows Emma clearly still has feelings for Charlie which Birdie catches on to.
More complicated is Charlie and Leo running a con on a corrupt financier, which can foul up their deal with Emma. It looks like Leo might get arrested, which can ruin a lot for the family.
Between the con games, the battle with Daphne and the threat of arrest on Leo, The Company You Keep is ramping things up as it approaches its first season finale.
