What happened to Morgan in Accused Season 1, Episode 12?
When Morgan asked for a divorce, she found herself behind bars in Accused Season 1, Episode 12. What happened during the episode?
Morgan’s story started with her wanting a divorce from her rich and powerful husband. She went about it the wrong way by having an affair, and that may have set off the chain of events that she found herself in.
Her ex-husband didn’t want to lose her or access to his son. Every other weekend wasn’t enough for him, but he made it look like it was for a while. That was all to create a plan that would see Morgan put behind bars. He managed to plant cocaine in her car and in her house ot make it look like she sold drugs.
He even got a witness to claim that Morgan sold drugs. How would Morgan be able to prove her innocence?
Was Morgan found guilty in Accused Season 1, Episode 12?
In the end, it all came down to Morgan’s car. The “witness” claimed that Morgan sold him drugs in the afternoon between leaving her own work and picking her son up from school. That would mean she was driving, so Morgan’s lawyer asked the witness about Morgan’s car.
The man claimed that it was a dark, very standard type of car. It all fell apart from here. Morgan drove a bright yellow Porsche. This was always going to stand out. The witness would have seen that if everything he claimed happened had actually happened.
Morgan’s ex-husband managed to keep his hands clean, though. It was the husband’s brother who set everything up, so it was the brother who ended up being arrested at the end of the episode. However, Morgan was found innocent and kept full custody of her son. There is a chance, based on how it ended, that she even managed to prevent her ex-husband from seeing their son every other weekend due to the court case.
