Are new episodes of the NCIS shows on tonight? (April 17, 2023)

Monday nights are supposed to end with two teams solving crimes. What’s going on tonight? Are the NCIS shows airing new tonight, Monday, April 17?

We’re ready for another night of two teams solving murders. Sadly, that’s not going to happen tonight. There are no new episodes of the two NCIS shows tonight.

In fact, the two shows are now on a break for the rest of April. We’ll get new episodes in May. We’ll just have to wait two weeks to finally get to see them. The good news is that this should be the last of the breaks. We’ll get four weeks of new episodes when the shows do return.

When will the NCIS shows be back with new episodes

The return date is set for Monday, May 1. Both NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii will return with new episodes. The two shows have four episodes left of the seasons, and we already know when both the NCIS Season 20 and NCIS: Hawaii Season 2 finales will air.

What can we expect when the two shows return? CBS hasn’t released any details just yet. That’s not surprising with such a long wait.

Even better news going into this break is that both shows are renewed. We did worry a little about Hawaii due to the lower live ratings, but it looks like the show is still good for Monday nights.

CBS is still to set the schedule for the fall, when we’re expecting both shows to return. We will get that schedule at the May Upfronts, and then in June or July we’ll get confirmed return dates for the fall lineup. We’re not expecting much to change for Monday nights on the network.
