Will Trent spoilers: What is Will’s new secret assignment?
Will Trent is finally back with the first of three new episodes that lead to the Season 1 finale and promises to put Will on his most exciting assignment yet. Check out the Will Trent spoilers for the new episode.
The ABC crime drama has been on a brief hiatus in April as the network wanted to hold off on new episodes before the planned Season 1 finale on Tuesday, May 2. So far, there’s no word on whether there will be a Season 2 although fans are still hopeful for it.
The last new episode had Will become a protector of a young boy whose guardians were killed in a trailer park shooting. That included keeping him safe from his own grandmother, who wanted to raise him as her own child. Will managed to take down the woman and her sons and let the child go with his birth mother.
Meanwhile, Faith was still dealing with shooting a corrupt cop. That led to a visit from her mother, Evelyn, a veteran cop who had been fired when Will exposed corruption in her department. She blamed Amanda for not having her back and a lot of tension, but Evelyn still helped her daughter cope with her trauma and move on.
The final subplot had Angie figuring the foster father who had raped her as a teen was going to do the same thing to his current stepdaughter. While she couldn’t prove anything, she point blank told the guy she was going to kill him if he didn’t get out of town.
That sets up this week’s return which puts Will on a unique new job.
Will Trent spoilers for Season 1, Episode 11
“Bill Black” refers to the cover identity Will uses as he goes undercover inside a drug gang. Seeing Will adopt a new persona should be interesting, as well as the challenge of hiding his dyslexia from the crooks.
The subplot seems to indicate Angie wants to move on from Will, which indicates she doesn’t want him hurt by what actions she’ll be taking. This is a good start for the final episodes of Season 1 to make up for the delay for Will Trent fans.
