NCIS Season 20 will not return with new episodes in April 2023

There wasn’t a new episode of NCIS Season 20 this week. Here’s a look at just how long the break is going to be. We’re without new episodes until May.

As you will have noticed, we went without a new episode of NCIS Season 20 on Monday, April 17. It’s not going to be the only date in April that doesn’t have a new episode. There is some bad news for crime drama fans this month.

CBS is putting the show on a break for the rest of the month. That’s right; we won’t get a new episode on Monday, April 24, either. When will we get to watch new episodes of the series? After all, the finale is just around the corner.

NCIS Season 20 returns in May 2023

New episodes of the series return in May. The good news is April 24 is the last Monday of the break. May 1 is a Monday, and that’s when the series will return with new episodes.

This is also the last break of the season. There are just a handful of episodes left and enough weeks to fill the gaps to the set finale date. This schedule is the reason for this break during the end of April.

Of course, there was some great news recently. This is not going to be the final season of the series. We always worried that the series wouldn’t survive without Gibbs, but it’s proven the opposite. Gary Cole’s Alden Parker has been a great addition to the team as a very different leader to the one Gibbs was. This team gels together well, and it looks like the writers haven’t run out of ideas for cases just yet—now if only the cases weren’t as predictable as they are.
