ABC is finally making some decisions about the future of its shows. The Rookie is one of the first on the list. Will The Rookie Season 6 happen?

We are all waiting for networks to make some final decisions for this TV season. We know not everything is going to be renewed, but there are certain shows that we’d love to see more of. The Rookie is one of them.

ABC has finally made the decision on the cop dramedy. Is it good news? And what about the spin-off series? Here’s what we know about the franchise in the 2023–2024 season so far.

Is The Rookie Season 6 happening at ABC?

It is good news for fans of the Nathan Fillion series. The Rookie Season 6 is officially happening, and Variety reports that the 100th episode will air during that season.

The renewal isn’t that surprising when you look at the live ratings. While it was a steady performer on Sunday nights, the movie to Tuesdays to kick off the night has been a great success. The live numbers have ticked up, giving the night of cop shows a good start.

There is no word on whether everyone is returning yet or not. There are no signs of any major changes to the cast, but we all remember the shocking turn of events in the Season 4 premiere, don’t we?

What about Feds? Right now, that freshman series, along with fellow Tuesday night drama Will Trent, is still on the bubble. Hopefully, we’ll get some positive answers before the finales air on Tuesday, May 2.

The Rookie and other Tuesday shows have been on a break recently. They’ll all return tonight, Tuesday, April 18 with new episodes and run straight through to their finales without any more breaks.
