Boom Boom and Bam Bam have been great additions in NCIS: Hawaii, showing up when they’re needed the most. Of course, fans want to know who play the characters and where you can see them in other shows.

We’ll start with Boom Boom, who was the first of the two bomb experts to show up. He was in the second episode of the series, and quickly made a mark. Of course, Boom Boom is just a nickname. The character’s full name is Norman Gates.

There is a chance we’ll see Boom Boom again. While we wait, where can you see the actor?

Who plays Boom Boom in NCIS: Hawaii?

Sherif Atkins plays the role on the NCIS spin-off series. You’ll recognize him from a few different TV shows over the years, including ER. He played Michael Gallant on the medical drama throughout a few seasons.

He has also appeared in White Collar and Queen of the South. And if you’re looking for him in movies, you’ll see him in a small role in Guardians of the Galaxy. He was a Nova pilot in the movie. Not a large role, but one that he’ll be proud of.

In fact, this is an actor who loves to bring the various characters to life. That’s the fun part of the job, and he stays in the moment with any job that he has. Atkins certainly takes his work seriously, and it shows when we see Boom Boom.

There is no doubt that fans want to see more of Boom Boom on the series. The question is when that will happen. Probably whenever the team needs a bomb expert again.
