Is a new episode of CSI: Vegas on CBS tonight? (April 20, 2023)
CSI: Vegas is taking another break for a few weeks as the show prepares to end its second season on a big note.
Fans of the popular series may be annoyed at its offbeat schedule this spring. First, CSI: Vegas has to skip a few weeks in March due to the CBS coverage of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. It returned on Thursday, March 30, only to take Thursday, April 6 off before a new episode on Thursday, April 13.
Now, CSI: Vegas will be taking another break. That seems off to fans, but the likely explanation is CBS wants to hold off and have all new episodes leading into the Season 2 finale on Thursday, May 18. As the show has already been renewed for a third season, fans can expect an exciting finale setting up a new year.
When is CSI: Vegas back with new episodes on CBS?
CSI: Vegas Season 2 is back on Thursday, May 4. When it returns, it will air the episode titled “Dead Memories,” which brings back Gene Farrow. The man appeared earlier in the season as Allie was convinced he was the mysterious killer leaving notes at crime scenes. It was added onto by discovering the man made creepy dolls, including one of Allie.
It turned out Gene was innocent, but his parting words hinting the false accusation had inspired a darkness in him. Now, he’s back, wielding a cleaver and talking about a wild party turned to murder. The team has to figure out if he’s telling the truth, as Allie will want to make up for her past mistake.
Thus, while another delay may annoy CSI: Vegas fans, at least they’ll be up for more excitement when they return.
"“When wrongly accused former suspect Gene Farrow (J.P. Manoux) enters the Crime Lab covered in blood, wielding a cleaver and looking for Allie Rajan, the CSI team investigates his peculiar story about a macabre party with a fatal ending.”"
