We are just an episode away from the Season 1 finale. The good news is we already know that Accused Season 2 is happening. There will be more of these anthology episodes that show some of the failings of the justice system and the health care system, as well as when trials seem to go right.
In the latest episode, we’ll see Jessie on trial for something. As with other episodes, it’s not clear what that is just yet, but it looks like it’s linked to potentially breaking into some sort of lab for fertility needs. Jessie just wants to know who her biological father is.

The promo gives us an idea of what Jessie could have done. We find out that she just wants to know who her dad is. Her mom has told her that he’s an anonymous sperm donor, and in a way that should be respected. At the same time, it’s clear that her mom is lying to her about something. What actually happened?

The synopsis doesn’t give us too much to work with. It tells us that Jessie is a determined teen. She wants answers, and she is willing to take things a little too far to get them. Is it possible that her age will be taken into account when it comes to whatever crime she’s committed? Could we see the opposite of Danny, who ended up being faced with not just a failure in the legal system but a failure in the mental health system?
