We know we’re getting closer to the season finale of The Equalizer Season 3. What’s going on with the CBS schedule tonight, Sunday, April 30?

As we get closer to season finale time, we end up in a catch-22 situation. We want new episodes of our favorite shows, but that means we end up with the season finales sooner than we’d like. If you’re someone who isn’t ready to see this season of The Equalizer end just yet, you may be happy to hear that the series isn’t airing a new episode tonight, Sunday, April 30.

There is a rerun on instead. In fact, CBS is opting for a night of reruns of its usual dramas.

This break is linked to scheduling needs. CBS has set the finale dates and there needs to be one more break before we get a string of new episodes.

When will The Equalizer return with new episodes?

This break is not a long one. The series will return on Sunday, May 6 at the usual time of 8 p.m. ET/PT. There will be two more episodes after that and then the show is on its summer hiatus. There is some good news in that The Equalizer Season 4 is definitely happening. Last year, CBS renewed the show for two seasons, so we went into this season without any concerns.

When the show returns, we’ll see McCall forced to track down a former MI6 agent. She had a past relationship with this man, and it looks like they are going to rekindle things during the episode. McCall hasn’t really had much of a love life while going through this series, so it’s going to be fun to see this play out.

Meanwhile, Delilah starts her fashion internship, but she will immediately face discrimination. There is no way that Delilah will stand for this, and this is a woman with connections to prevent the injustice of discrimination.
