Is a Law & Order crossover event coming in May 2023?
Law & Order is ready to cap off two of its shows with a big crossover event. Which Law & Order series are joining forces?
Law & Order has always had a shared universe, and a few times in the past several characters from one show have guest-starred on another. A big connection is between SVU and Organized Crime, given the long partnership between Olivia Benson (Marisa Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni).
Last fall, a historic event had all three shows joining in one big crossover event. There have been a few more crossovers between the SVU team and the Organized Crime Task Force. However, this May, it looks like the two shows are joining together in one big event.
What is the Law & Order crossover about?
The storyline will begin in the Thursday, May 11 Organized Crime episode “Shadowërk.” Benson will guest star, and it will also mark the return of Kelli Giddish as Amanda Rolins, who’s now pregnant with Carisi’s child.
"“When DNA from an SVU rape investigation connects to an OCCB unsolved murder, Stabler and Benson uncover a revenge-for-hire scheme on the dark web. While Bell and Jet follow the money trail to expose the website’s anonymous creator, Stabler asks Professor Rollins for help with a key clue.”"
The episode will also involve Oscar Papas (Goya Robles), the leader of the BX9 gang that clashed with Benson earlier on SVU.
This then leads into the Special Victims Unit Season 24 and Organized Crime Season 3 finales, both airing on Thursday, May 18. The SVU hour “All Pain Is One Malady.” has the two teams joining forces on a dangerous case.

The story concludes on Organized Crime in “With Many Names.”

It’s unsure how many characters will appear in both episodes, but several actors, such as Molly Burnett, have posted photos from the set showing themselves mingling. This sets up a huge finale for both shows that should be a great teaming of popular characters.
