The Will Trent Season 1 finale certainly brought us some intense moments. Now we want Will Trent Season 2. How long do we need to wait for it?

All eyes are on the return of our new favorite detective. Will Trent certainly made an impression from the start, and the live ratings proved that. The show has been renewed for a second season, and now we just need to know when we’ll get the episodes.

What we know right now is that Will Trent Season 2 will not arrive in May 2023. No episodes of the series will air at all this month. At least, not new ones. ABC is entering its summer programming.

When will Will Trent Season 2 premiere on ABC?

How long is this wait going to be? It is very hard to tell until the May Upfronts happen for the network. That’s when we’ll know the plans for the fall. It is possible that the success of the series in the midseason could pull this series to the fall, which could mean a September 2023 premiere date.

Just don’t get too excited yet. There is a lot going on right now that is going to affect premiere dates for all broadcast shows. At the time of writing this, a decision on the writer’s strike is still to be made and there are some concerning factors that go with this. This strike could lead to some production and post-production work affected as well as writing, which could delay the arrival of shows.

There is just so much in the air right now that it’s hard to tell when we could see Will Trent Season 2. Maybe ABC will choose to keep it as a midseason show to prevent too many disruptions or uncertainties.
